There aren’t many fighters in mixed martial arts who have made a name for themselves with boring fighting styles, but there are countless known for chaos following them in any bout they step into. Fans don’t only want to see a fighter win; they want to see them do it entertainingly.
What fighter pops into your mind when you think of the single most entertaining in MMA? There are nearly unlimited options to go with and it is difficult to narrow them down, so we have former UFC title-contender Jessica Penne along with others breaking down their own top 5 most entertaining!
Who would you put on your list or do you agree with Jessica’s? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
5) Jon Jones
Jon Jones is not only one of the most entertaining fighters, he is arguably the most dominant of all time. With a record of 21-1, his only loss comes from a disqualification in a fight he was completely dominating. Since debuting in the UFC, Jones has implemented a unique and flashy fighting style. He often incorporates spinning elbows, flying knees, and other crazy unorthodox strikes in his attack while taking apart his opponents.

4) Joe Lauzon
Joe Lauzon has been a fan favorite since debuting at UFC 64, where he was a massive underdog in a fight against the inaugural lightweight champion Jens Pulver. He ended up winning that fight by knockout and ever since he has been a UFC staple. His aggressive, never-back-down fighting style has won him 13 post-fight bonuses including six of those beings ‘Fight of the Night.’

3) Nick Diaz
Famous for his pitter-patter boxing style, Gracie Jiu-Jitsu skills, and Stockton-flavored trash talk, it is hard not to be a fan of Nick Diaz.Whether it be because of his fighting style or antics outside of the cage, Diaz deserves to be on anyone’s list of most entertaining fighters. Although many of his fights have taken place outside of the UFC, it doesn’t take away from the excitement he brings to them one bit. His fight against Paul Daley in StrikeForce is one of the most action packed first rounds you could ever hope to see.

2) Tony Ferguson
After winning season 13 of The Ultimate Fighter, Tony Ferguson has become an up-and-coming lightweight prospect turned contender who is currently knocking on the door of a title shot. Using his powerful strikes, crafty submission skills and gritty will to win, Ferguson has only allowed himself to lose once out of his total eleven UFC contests. He takes on Khabib Nurmagomedov in Tampa, Florida on April 16th, the winner is expected to get the next shot at the lightweight title.

1) Robbie Lawler
Simply put, Robbie Lawler is the absolute man. Ever since returning to the UFC and the welterweight division, he has looked like nothing less than a cold-blooded killer. His heart, determination to win and raw power have turned him into one of the scariest champions the UFC has ever had. You do not want to be standing across the cage from Robbie Lawler in round five of a title fight, just trust me. In just the past few years alone, he has had wars with Johnny Hendricks, Matt Brown, and Carlos Condit just to name a few and to solidify his place as the most entertaining fighter in all of MMA.
