With mixed martial arts fans wondering when Ronda Rousey will return to the cage, we take a look at Ronda’s second amateur mixed martial arts fight in this Ronda Rousey Throwback.

November 12th, 2010 at the Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV, Tuff-N-Uff held a show titled Future Stars of MMA. In the co main slot Olympic Judo Bronze Medallist and then 1-0 Amateur Mixed Martial Artist Ronda Rousey stepped into the ring against Team Quest product and former member of the Army National Guard Autumn Richardson who held an amateur record of 3-1. The bout was contested in the featherweight division of 145lbs.

With long time boxing coach Edmond Tarverdyan and martial arts legend ‘Judo’ Gene Lebell in her corner ‘Rowdy’ wasted no time getting working her way into the clinch throwing Richardson to the ground landing in a side control with a scarf hold position.

Stifling Richardson’s attempts to take back mount, Rousey transitions to full mount and begins administering a healthy dose of ground and pound forcing Richardson to turn over and give Rousey her right arm to forcing the tap via armbar at 0:57 of round number one.
