The ability to stay calm in a MMA fight is a unique trait that not every fighter possesses. Many high level, famous fighters are well-known for freaking out and getting anxious when it’s fight time but for others it seems as if fighting in front of millions of people where you can get seriously hurt is no big deal.

In the following video from YouTube channel MMA Release, we see the most calm UFC fighters and the success of these fighters makes you think that perhaps their calm demeanor has had a serious impact.

Appearing on this video list is top ranked UFC middleweight Gegard Mousasi. Mousasi almost looks like he’s bored in there when he’s fighting and perhaps his experience has something to do with that. Mousasi has 50 professional MMA fights to his name, at middleweight, light heavyweight and even heavyweight where he has a win over Mark Hunt. Perhaps after fighting Mark Hunt every opponent seems like a walk in the park to Gegard who is currently riding a 5 fight win streak at middleweight and is one of the tops guys in that division.

Also appearing on this list is none other than UFC lightweight champion and superstar Conor McGregor. Not only does Conor appear very relaxed and calm during the fight, but he is also well known to be extremely calm backstage before the fight even starts which is even more rare. Perhaps his mindset and ability to stay calm and perform under pressure will shock the world if a boxing match with Floyd Mayweather ever comes to fruition.

Also appearing in the video below is Mcgregor’s teammate Gunnar Nelson as well as Demian Maia and Jon Jones.
