Taylor Swift demonstrates her Bad Blood butt-kicking regime.

She became embroiled in a heated Twitter exchange with Nicki Minaj on Tuesday night after the MTV VMAs nomination announcement.

And Taylor Swift showed some fighting spirit just hours before the spat as she posted a new clip on her Instagram page of her perfecting her Bad Blood butt-kicking regime with a martial arts expert.

The 25-year-old pop princess – who has won a VMA nod for the video – was seen pulling punches in a typically fierce style as she trained in the gym.

Displaying her toned physique in skintight workout gear, the singer took on not one, but two male dancers as they practice their brawling choreography.

Her face in a raging expression, the singer threw a series of heavy punches and some seriously high leg kicks in preparation for the star-studded video, which featured the likes of Cara Delevingne, Gigi Hadid, Zendaya and Selena Gomez.

The video surfaced after it was revealed Taylor’s Bad Blood is up for Video Of The Year at the MTV Video Music Awards.

But while most of the singer’s fans rejoiced at the news, it seems not everybody was quite so happy for the star, namely female rapper Nicki.

The Superbass crooner took to Twitter on Tuesday to rant about her VMA snub for Video Of The Year, and one particular comment from the rapper appeared to single out the Shake It Off

Bad Blood broke video streaming records set by Nicki’s Anaconda back in August and was a huge hit, partly due to it featuring numerous cameo appearances from Taylor’s celebrity gal pals.

Taylor wasted no time in responding to the Starships hit-maker saying, ‘I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot.’ [source : dailymail.co.uk]
