There are a number of ways that you can intimidate your opponent before and during an MMA fight. Grinding your foreheads together seems to be a common one. Unrelenting eye contact is also popular. From what we can gather from internet videos though, anything related to kissing seems to be a bad idea.

Yoshihiro Nakao kissed Heath Herring in their pre-fight staredown, only to be KTFO’d before the fight even started. Anderson Silva sort of kissed Chris Weidman at the weigh-in but it may have been inadvertent. Either way, that fight didn’t end well for The Spider. All of that being said, at least there was actual lip to lip contact in those cases. In the video you see here, the kiss was simply blown in another dude’s direction.

So, from what we can gather on the internet, this was an amateur fight at GPP Fight Night in Wyoming, Michigan. No, that’s not a typo. There’s the state of Wyoming and then there’s also a city named Wyoming that’s in Michigan. You learn something new everyday. You’re welcome. So at around 25 seconds in, we see a ring girl carrying a championship belt around the ring, which leads us to believe this fight is for some kind of title. We’re not quite sure what the title is actually for, so here are our three best guesses: GPP Fight Night Featherweight Championship, Most Awesome Collection of Tapout T-Shirts, or Best Celebrity Look A Like Title (Noel Gugliemi for the puncher and P!nk the pop star for the kisser if you were wondering.)

Anyway, so Noel Gugliemi doesn’t take too kindly to having a kiss blown in his direction and decides to throw a nasty sucker punch. What the hell, man!? If he could have just held out like ten more seconds that punch would have been perfectly legal! Instead, P!nk is wondering why he’s knocked out before he had the chance to get the party started.
