In this fight from Arrows Street Fight a Russian Air Force soldier fights a pro grappler and undefeated Indian fighter nicknamed ‘Bollywood’.
Although there is no official regulation of amateur mixed martial arts in Russia, this fight does seem to take place under stand rules. There is a referee who controls the action the entire fight and Arrows claims each fighter is checked to be fit to fight by a medical panel. Each fighter is in proper protective gear including a cup, mouthpiece, and amateur MMA fight gloves.
The referee gets the fight started and the fighters meet in the center of the sand, and the two touch gloves. Immediately ‘Bollywood’ shots for a double leg take down and is able to drive his opponent to the mat who is throwing useless punches at his back.
The soldier is able to use double over hook control to get himself into a sprawl and the referee forces them to stand up. As the fight restarts the Indian fighter again immediately throws a punch and shoots another takedown. But the solider is able to sprawl into the corner and force another standup.
The pattern continues a couple times, but in one exchange the Indian fighter does knock down the solider and follows up with a takedown that gets reversed.
Eventually after another takedown, the solider is able to land some good punches to the side of the head from a sprawl and either the Indian fighter verbally submits or time expires.
