Retired UFC light heavyweight Krzysztof Soszynski is a very dangerous man.

He began weight training at 16, and at 21 became a professional wrestler. Soszynski was mentored by “Bad News” Brown (real name Allen Coage). Coage had won a bronze medal in Judo at the 1976 Summer Olympics. Famed ABC commentator Frank Gifford closed the coverage by noting that they came from the ends of the earth – a princess from England and bouncer from Bayonne. Then he added, “the bouncer got a medal, the princess didn’t.”

Coage taught Soszynski how to shoot – how to do real pro wrestling, with submissions, inspiring the Polish-Canadian to start a career in mixed martial arts. Fighting for nearly a decade, Soszynski holds a Fight of the Night win over Stephan Bonnar, and a Submission of the Night win over Brian Stann, among 26 others.

He had a minor role in Here Comes the Boom (2012), and a major role in Tapped Out (2014).

Soszynski well and truly looks the part:

Fighting looks hard, and is harder than it looks, even if the other person isn’t fighting back, as Zach, Morgan, Brianna, and Dominic discovered.
