Leave it to MMA to remain the craziest sport on Earth. Shocking KOs, crazy comebacks, out-of-the-cage shenanigans, MMA never fails to entertain. Sometimes it delivers outright WTF-inducing moments, just like in the following footage.

Here we have two gentlemen about to square off in the cage. The fight turns out to be a mismatch from the get-go as the fighter with the blue trunks SWARMS on his opponent with a flurry of hooks and a head kick that earns him a knockdown.

The fighter in blue lets his foe up but continues unleashing a barrage of strikes; the fighter in red has nothing for him. The referee has no other choice but to stop the contest just 30 seconds into the very first round. The fighter in blue earned a definite stoppage win while his opponent lost. That’s all she wrote, right?

Wrong. The referee checks on the losing fighter while the victor is parading around celebrating his win. Nothing shocking here, but things are about to get awry when the losing fighter’s cornerman steps into the cage…

The cornerman naturally checks on his fighter to see if he’s alright. He then can be seen saying something to the referee. What did he say to him? That remains unclear but what’s for sure is that the referee didn’t seem to appreciate the cornerman’s words.

Was the cornerman upset with the stoppage? Who knows. Anyway, the referee walks up to the cornerman and gets in his face. The exchange seems heated. The referee grabs the cornerman’s wrist while the latter tries to break free… and that’s when the referee throws a well-placed left hook… out of f**ing nowhere!
