In this video, we see a professional level boxer fight in MMA and it ends in pretty brutal fashion in the boxer’s favor, which is quite rare in professional MMA.

Boxing can be a very effective fighting style in terms of self-defense but in MMA competition pure boxers tend to not do very well most of the time. That’s not the case in the video below though as the boxer Mark Potter is able to completely dominate his opponent and finish him off in brutal fashion rather quickly.

While both fighters are bald with tattoos, Potter is the slightly less muscular fighter with the fewer tattoos. Though it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out who the boxer is when the action begins.

Right off the bat, we see the boxer, Potter, showing off some great head movement before landing a brutal combination on his opponent, Mark Walker, before the two clinch up.

In boxing, the clinch is a pretty safe position but in MMA there is a lot to worry about in the clinch such as elbow strikes as well as takedowns.

Potter is able to keep the fight on his feet though before they separate. Shortly thereafter, Potter begins to tee off on his opponent once again and when a pro level boxer is teeing off on you, it is a completely different thing.

The accuracy, as well as the speed and power of his punches, is on a different level compared to most MMA fighters. His opponent is unable to withstand the abuse this time and goes down awarding the boxer, Potter, the knockout victory.

As a professional boxer, Potter had a respectable record of 21-5 before he got into MMA competition. The biggest name he fought as a boxer was Danny Williams which was for the British heavyweight title that Potter lost via TKO.

He had a pretty good run in MMA too after his boxing career like we see in this video before he was forced to retire due to an eye injury with a final MMA record of 5-2.
