We have all at least seen the game mentioned in the title of this article and I would venture to say that the vast majority of you reading this right now have engaged in a friendly competition involving the punching machine that may or may not have involved alcohol and a late night at your local watering hole.
Once the banter starts to get more and more intense the conversation inevitably turns to a discussion involving famous fighters. This conversation will eventually lead to claims of being able to punch harder than insert name of famous fighter here and the back and forth will begin.
In the world of mixed martial arts at the present moment, there are few names bigger than Nate Diaz and his exposure in the mainstream media has turned him into a household name. So what better video than the one below, the one that will answer the question as to just how high of a score he can achieve on the good ole punching machine.

In the video below there are also a couple of people whom you may or may not know but should. The first is the Diaz brothers’ protege Chris Avila, a young up and coming fighter who has shown great promise although he had a less than spectacular UFC debut but by all accounts has positioned himself to possibly be one of the UFC’s biggest talents.
Then you have Joe Stitch ’em Up Schilling. A Muay Thai and Kickboxing world champion is a legend in his own right, one of the best stand-up practitioners around, and who earned his nickname from his vicious elbows.
So check out the video below to watch these three throw down on the punching machine.
