Having a background in mixed martial arts training can obviously be a valuable tool when it comes to defending and protecting one’s self against an attacker.
Having the knowledge, skill and confidence to hold your own against an aggressor can mean the difference between getting seriously injured during an altercation or walking away unscathed.
The video begins with a teen being circled by a group of boys outside of his school.
He drops one of them with a left and kicks him while he’s down in an attempt to incapacitate him.

It soon becomes apparent that he’s finding success in the confrontation because he’s utilizing the techniques of a trained mixed martial artist.
The group continues to move in on him, but with noticeably increased trepidation.
In an attempt to halt incoming attackers, the martial artist assesses the group’s threat level and adjusts his stance accordingly. It looks like another boy in the group is going to attempt to engage him, but once more, it’s the boy who was initially dropped that presses the action. Now back to his feet, we can see he’s wearing gloves— presumably to offer his hands some form of protection against his trained opponent.
This indicates his involvement in the fight was likely premeditated, as there’s little other reason to be wearing gloves on a day where the weather appears comfortably pleasant.
The trained teen then fires off a few more punches before the two get into a clinch. He lands several knees before falling backwards and attempting a submission from his back. At this point, a few spectators step in to break up the action and the video feed is cut.
When considering that the trained teen holds the interest of multiple potential attackers throughout the video, and that the crowd is actively rooting against him, it seems likely that the majority in attendance left feeling somewhat disillusioned by the turn of events that day.
mma.tv does not condone participating in unsanctioned fights of any kind— unless you are forced to defend yourself or your family and friends.
