A number of figures from the fight community predict the upcoming Batman vs. Superman superfight, including Rashad Evans, Ken Shamrock, Wanderlei Silva, Lyoto Machida, Firas Zahabi, and Georges St. Pierre.
There is a widespread belief that Batman has no chance.
“Superman,” said Lyoto Machida definitively. “Superman’s going to win, for sure.”
Fellow Brazilian Wanderlei Silva concurred.
“Batman has no super powers,” explained Wand. “Just has the belt and the money. That’s no fair. Heh. … Superman is the Jon Jones of superheros. Nobody can beat, man. I think no chance Batman. Gonnhhhe juuyys da juuggee.”
However, Rashad Evans holds a contrary opinion.
“When it comes to this match up, this epic battle, I think it becomes one of wits, versus actual physical power,” opined Rashad Evans. “Clark Kent, he’s a very intelligent guy, but let’s be honest here – Batman, he’s something else. … I think that Batman is going to be able to outsmart Superman, and Batman’s going to be on top.”
Super coach Firas Zahabi illuminated the role of a coach.
“I think if Superman had a good trainer, a good strategist, because he is too much of a dummy, he could win,” said Zahabi. “Batman vs. Superman, Superman, with no coaching, he’s going to lose.”
Lastly Georges St-Pierre offered a twist.
“If it’s like the comic book, Batman’s belt, is (made of) Krypton(ite). So that’s why Batman is going to beat Superman. But after, they are going to become friend again. Sorry to spoil it.”
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled to be released in North America on March 25, in 2D, 3D, 4DX, IMAX 3D, premium large formats and 70 mm prints.
The plot is nothing less than a fight between God and man. Fearing a Superman left unchecked, Batman takes on the man of steel, while the world wrestles with what kind of a hero it really needs. With Batman and Superman fighting each other, a new threat, Doomsday, is created by Lex Luthor. Ultimately, God, man, and Wonder Woman must unite to save Metropolis.
