Bas Rutten is an MMA legend and one of the sport’s pioneers from the early days. He had his start in MMA during the old days of Pancrase in Japan where he was famous for his powerful palm strikes as well as his liver shots that he used to finish many opponents but he also had great grappling ability too for the time.

Unlike many retired fighters, Bas Rutten has also had a lot of success outside of the cage too in many different endeavors including the realm of acting. You can see Bas Rutten in many big films such as Here Comes the Boom, Zookeeper, and Pall Blart Mall Cop. You can also see him in the following video of his new comedic web series called ‘The Bas Rutten Experiment.’

The opening scene depicts Bas Rutten involved in a self-defense scenario against a mugger. Bas Rutten debates whether or not to get involved with the devil and angel on his shoulder and they both hilariously agree on Bas kicking some butt.

We also see Bas in the role of a newscaster and meteorologist of his own news program entitled ‘Bas News at 9.’

This hilarious episode ends with Bas Rutten reading mean tweets about the new show not being funny or successful which causes the former UFC heavyweight champion to start crying hysterically. Yeah right.
