With the sport of mixed martial arts having exploded in popularity in 2005 due to the The Ultimate Fighter’, it was starting to become a bit more commonplace to see some familiar faces from the world of MMA in other forms of media.
An avid fan of mixed martial arts, TV comedian Kevin James and the star of the hit sitcom ‘The King of Queens’ wrote in a part for the Season 8 episode ‘Fight Schlub’ to guest star some familiar faces.

In a memorable dream sequence Kevin James character Doug Heffernan and his group have a confrontation over a table in a bar, unfortunately the group of men he picks a fight with are none other than Randy Couture, Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson, Dan Henderson and Frank Trigg (with a head of hair).

Kevin James proceeds to throw a right hand on the jaw on Dan Henderson causing the mixed martial arts troupe to deliver an epic beat down of their rival parcel workers.
This would not be the last mixed martial arts themed role Kevin James would be involved in as he played the role of a budding mixed martial arts fighter in the 2012 film ‘Here comes the Boom’.
