Getting kicked in the face always sucks. It sucks even more when you haven’t signed up for it. In this youtube clip we see Michael ‘The Count’ Bisping doing pads with his long-time coach Jason Parillo at an open workout and misjudges the distance of one of his kicks and cracks Jason right in the chops with a spinning back kick.

Jason shakes it off like a pro and says I’ve got a good chin and I was a boxer. Bisping seems genuinely apologetic and claims it was the first time ever. Plenty of accidents happen in training though, even when doing something as innocuous as holding pads. Just ask Mike ‘Wink’ Winkeljohn.
Bisping then tries to lighten the mood with some self-depreciation I told you I’ve got no power, I’m a pussy. And Jason speculates this moment is going to end up all over social media. Regardless of his perceived lack of power and the accidental kick, Bisping looks pretty good on the pads here with his kicks, even if it is just a for a fan-friendly open workout before his bout with Anderson Silva.
