Last weekend Kevin Ferguson, Jr. made his amateur debut in mixed martial arts. Hundreds of fighters make their debut every year, but for Ferguson Jr. he has a name to live up as the son of legendary street fighter, one time UFC fighter, and current Bellator fighter Kimbo Slice. Slice’s real name is of course Kevin Ferguson.
Kevin Ferguson, Jr., wasted no time in his MMA debut, needing just 83 seconds to leave Tom Brink facedown on the canvas at Warrior Nation XFA XII.
Ferguson, Jr., or “Baby Slice” as you may know him, slung heavy leather from the bout’s outset, eventually connecting with the fight-finishing blow midway through his amateur debut.
