Judging by his recent MMA performances Kimbo Slice won’t be the heavyweight champion of the world anytime soon, but at the same time you still wouldn’t want to be punched in the gut by this infamous backyard brawler though, right?
As it happens, the people in the video were willing to cast aside concerns for the health and well being of their internal organs in exchange for a few bucks.

First to take up the challenge was a man going by the name of ‘Big Dog Commando’ who looked like he was carrying a large amount of, shall we say natural body armor around his midsection.
’Big Dog’ agreed to get hit for $50, but then wisely raised the ante to $100 when he realized it was Kimbo who’d be doing the punching.
Kimbo punched him to the body with a glove on, taking the breath out of the big man who squatted down like he was going to evacuate his bowels afterwards and could only manage a strained, good when asked how he was feeling.
Next up to become a human punching bag was the much slimmer ‘Zubi’. He initially opted to just take a punch from one of Kimbo’s entourage for $50, and showed his toughness by barely batting an eyelid from that blow.

With his confidence now on a high, Zubi agreed to be hit by Kimbo for another $50.
Kimbo unleashed a thunderous shot to his midsection and there was no laughing off the impact this time around as Zubi staggered around unable to speak, pausing occasionally to bend over as he tried to catch his breath.
In his heyday Kimbo Slice had a fearsome reputation on the streets and became famous worldwide thanks to a series of viral youtube videos showing him dismantling opponents in bare knuckle fights.
Kimbo eventually lost to police officer Sean ‘The Cannon’ Gannon in a somewhat shambolic scrap behind closed doors, but he then used his fame to transition to professional combat sports where he now holds a 6-2 MMA record and 7-0 run in the boxing ring.
