Before the first UFC came along, many people in the martial arts community thought these ‘kiai masters’ were the end all and be all of martial arts ability. Some people out there still believe in these weird ‘woo woo’ martial arts like we see here in the following video from Arrows amateur fighting in Russia.

According to the video description “Kiai master live last few years in the mountains of India, where he was trained in secret skill contact-less battle that applied to his rival in the Army fighting without rules.”

‘Contact-less’ battle? Sounds suspect already but let’s see how he does. Right away you can tell that this ‘kiai master’ has no idea what he’s doing in there just based on his movement and his stance. His chin is way up in the air and his hands are down super low making him extremely easy to hit.

Also his movement is very clunky and looks like he’s never been in there against an actual resisting opponent before. It also looks more like he is running away from his opponent instead of trying to set something up.

Luckily for him his ankle gives out before his opponent connects with anything serious and he goes down from it, a true ‘no touch KO’ so to speak.

He tries to go back out there but the same ankle gives him more problems and he collapses again after trying to literally jump over a leg which is NOT the proper way to defend it.
