In this fight from the Arrows Street Fight Fight Club a karate trained fighter battles a ‘street fighter’ in a ring built on the sand.
Although there is no official regulation of amateur mixed martial arts in Russia, this fight does seem to take place under stand rules. There is a referee who controls the action the entire fight and Arrows claims each fighter is checked to be fit to fight by a medical panel. Each fighter is in proper protective gear including a cup, mouthpiece, and amateur MMA fight gloves.
The referee gets the fight started and the fights meet in the center of the sand, which has been roped off to create a fighting arena. The two touch gloves.
The ‘street fighter’ opens with a short front kick and is meet with a roundhouse kick by the ‘karate fighter’, which doesn’t land. The two begin a wild exchange of punches and kicks with neither landing anything overly successful. The ‘street fighter’ is able to get the fight to the ground, landing in top of half guard, before quickly passing to side mount.
After getting his head free, he is able to pass to full mount and starts to rain down punches on his helpless opponent. As the ‘karate fighter’ seemingly unable to get his opponent off him, he turns to his side and eats some big punches. The referee had seen enough and stops the fight, declaring a winner by technical knockout due to unanswered strikes. The two shake hands in a show of sportsmanship and the ‘street fighters’ hand is raised in victory. The crowd congratulates him with an ovation.
