The sport of Mixed Martial Arts has been around a lot longer than most people believe, however; it was introduced to the world on a cold evening in Denver, Colorado on November 12, 1993, and called the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The premise was beautiful in its simplicity: to simply answer the question of which martial art is most effective.

Fast forward over 20 years and we now have a sport that jockeys for top position in popularity in many countries. Although the sport has evolved, the original question that was set out to be answered is still one that intrigues people to this day.

Leave it to soccer fans to take this concept to an entirely new level and combine it with their love of football, or soccer as it is known here stateside. What we see below is an organized fight between two groups of fans from opposing teams and are what are referred to as football hooligans.

The official definition of the term football hooligans is as follows: those who violate the public order, associating their actions with the football biases and justifying them.

Essentially, these guys justify their violation of all laws and public rule sets by engaging in these organized matches as a way to settle soccer rivalry disputes…between fans!

So check out the video below to watch a real life scenario unfold that surprising looks like a scene straight out of the movie Green Street Hooligans.
