In the following video from Russia amateur MMA league ‘Arrows Street Fight’ we see what happens when a ‘guy from a nightclub’ takes on an alleged Thai boxer and it ends in rather surprising fashion.

The title of the video is translated from Russian as “A guy from a nightclub came out against the Thai Boxer” and that could mean a couple of things. Most likely it is just a random guy from a nightclub who decided to try his luck in a fight with no training. But it could also mean that he is a bouncer.

Now bouncing, while certainly not a martial art, does provide one with a lot of real world, self-defense experience that perhaps is even better than a lot of traditional martial arts out there.

As for his opponent, the alleged Thai boxer, he’s got the Thai shorts but it is doubtful that he has very much experience in Muay Thai judging by his technique in there once the fight starts.

Standing and banging with a much larger opponent instead of using skill and technique is never a good idea that he pays for early in the contest as he quickly gets dropped.

This ‘guy from a nightclub’ is quite rudimentary with his attack as well but he is big, tough, and aggressive. He is eventually able to finish this fight with a basic rear naked choke which is another indication of bouncing experience as it is a common technique for those in that line of work.
