Conor McGregor is arguably the most combat sport athlete on the planet now, despite a recent loss to Nate Diaz at UFC 196. With his rise to fame, his head coach John Kavanagh has built some notoriety as the man responsible for building McGregor into a world champion.

With notoriety and an increased profile, Kavanagh has attracted fighters that want to learn under him, but also some high profile clientele. Recently Game of Thrones actor Gregor Clegane, who portrayed the Mountain, spent time training with McGregor and Kavanagh and today a new video surfaced of actor Liam Cunningham, who portrays Ser Davos on the hit HBO series has been taking mixed martial arts lessons with the famed coach.

The training session looked to have been being filmed by a professional crew so we aren’t quite sure if it was for a project or was just the actor looking to learn how to fight better.
