In this unregulated martial arts bout from Russia, one man volunteers to jump in the action from the crowd and take on a trained mixed martial artist.

It is not recommended to participate in an unregulated event as there is no real oversight, but Russia’s Arrowfight seems to be taking at least some precautions in making their events safe as can be.

Before the fight starts, you can see the man who has jumped in the crowd clearly excited to be getting in the ring and fight. He has that kind of goofy look on his face that is a mix of excitement and lack of knowing what he is getting himself into.

As the fight starts, both men looked excited to be fighting and have an enthusiastic hand shake before getting started.

The two start off by circling each other cautiously and it’s the fight fan that attacks first with a hard kick and grunt, which gets his opponent to give a grin and head shake. The crowd gets a good laugh.

The fight fan throws another hard kick, but it mostly misses. The trained fighter lands a good jab and follows up with a solid combination that drops his opponent to the ground but out of the ropes. The referee stops the action.

After a restart, the action gets fast and furious as the trained fighter attacks with solid strikers causing the fan to drop to the ground. The trained fighter immediately jumps on him, lands a few punches, then locks up the fight ending rear naked choke.
