Bella Mir, unbeaten at 4-0, daughter of former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir, NCAA champion wrestler, veteran of two UFC BJJ appearances, arrived as the biggest betting favourite in the show’s ten-season history, priced between -2000 and -6000 depending on the sportsbook, with Dana White’s interest in her long since public. The main event was framed, in Yahoo’s phrasing, as a fait accompli.
