Do you smell what the Ronda’s cooking’ ?

Recently a video has surfaced on social media, that has MMA and WWE fans buzzing alike. After Ronda Rousey’s hugely publicized “run in” at last year’s Wrestlemania, where she helped out the Rock and even managed to get Triple H to take a hip toss bump for her, many were left wondering if this would be a one time gig, or if the world’s hottest female athlete would make a return to the famed “squared circle?”

While this video may not provide any answers to that question, it does show the ex-bantamweight champion and close friend, Shayna Baszler, working a few choreographed spots and even shows Ronda doing her best to “sell” it. The video was filmed before UFC 193, but with the recent loss of her belt, and her apparently unending demand from Hollywood, one would wonder if a more “predetermined” and less demanding lifestyle might be on the horizon for her? Brock Lesnar opted to go back to the world of professional wrestling after he was beaten badly by Alistar Overeem. GSP left on top, but only after he started taking serious damage in his fights. And to move the point a little closer to Holm, oops, I mean home, Gina Carano paved the way for Ronda, and promptly left the sport after her brutal defeat to Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino. Ronda suffered a devastating loss to Holly Holm back in November.

While Rousey certainly seems to be cut from a different cloth, history has proven that fighters with other options than getting their ass kicked, often take them once they have seen what it’s like to be the nail, so to speak. Her rematch with Holm has been put on hold, and the movie roles just keep piling up. Where we see Ronda Rousey compete next remains to be seen, will it be in the cage, or will it be in the ring? Only time will tell.
