Watch as Dave Branch discusses what it means to have mixed martial arts in his life in the video below!

With an impressive 18-3 record within mixed martial arts competition, Dave Branch has begun to make a name for himself over the last several years. He was signed to the UFC prematurely in his career, going 2-2 in his short stint with them, but after being cut from the organization has ramped up his training and only gotten better.

Since joining the WSOF in 2012, Branch has been undefeated in his last 8 bouts, capturing the WSOF middleweight and light-heavyweight championships in the process.

Capturing just a single championship belt requires an unfathomable amount of focus, but to hold two at the same time is something that has only happened a handful of times in MMA. In boxing, weight classes are only separated by a couple of pounds each, making it far easier to go up or down in weight to capture another title. The middleweight and light-heavyweight divisions are twenty pounds apart in mixed martial arts, which is a massive jump when you’re competing against the best martial artists in the world.

Long story short, Dave Branch is a martial artist and human that others can look up to as a role model. It is possible that mixed martial arts saved his life from going down the wrong path and if you’re going through a rough time in your life, maybe it can save yours too.
