It is perhaps the most heated and volatile rivalry in UFC history but at the landmark event UFC 200 reigning Light Heavyweight Champ Daniel Cormier will get a chance to avenge his only loss to former kingpin and interim champ Jon Jones, who himself is on a path of redemption to regain the title that he never lost held by a man he decisively defeated back in 2015.

Appearing on an episode of Sports Centre, UFC Light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier joined hosts Kevin Negandhi and former title challenger Chael Sonnen to talk about the importance of UFC 200, what this fight means to himself and the sport, his legacy and where he went wrong in his first fight.

“I would have liked to use the wrestling more, but Jon didn’t allow me to use it as much as I needed to in that fight and I wasn’t able to control distance.” he explained to Kevin and Chael.

Will Daniel Cormier be able to avenge his one and only loss or will Jon Jones put on another clinic and reclaim his belt back from his arch nemesis.
