Conor McGregor is one of the UFC’s most high profile athletes. Known for his style, way with words, and skills in the cage, McGregor has grown into a huge draw for the UFC.

But did he ‘swagger-jack’ his entire style from a Canadian model??!?

Underground Forum member NewOldTRT09er created a thread pointing out the uncanny resemblance that Toronto-based model Josh Mario John has to the Irish featherweight, with tongue only slightly in cheek.

Picture says it all. Even the tiger tattoo!!

First it was copying Ali with the “say my name!” schtick – difference is Conor hasn’t even changed his name. Awkward…

Then it was copying predicting the round like Ali. Which he continually gets wrong,

Now it comes to light he’s been swaggerjacking this poor souls tattoos.

Seems the only thing original about McGreggor is that he has a prosthetic nose….(that thing can’t possibly be real, it’s a snorkel!)

For those unfamiliar with ‘swagger-jacking’, it is a term popularized by Juelz Santana.

verb
/ˈswæɡə/ [jak]
To steal one’s swagger; copy or imitate actions, saying, or personal habits
EX: Conor just swagger jacked Josh Mario John’s ink, yo.

Whether on purpose or not, the resemblance is hard to ignore. Same hair cut, same beard, and similar tattoos, including, even, the tiger on their stomachs.

That said, it is in all likelihood an example of Multiple Discovery, which contrasts with the “‘Heroic Theory’ of Invention and Discovery”. Multiple Discovery, also known as known as Simultaneous Invention, is the hypothesis that most great discoveries and inventions are made independently – and more or less simultaneously – by multiple individuals.

Thus, there may even be a third innovator worldwide with a tiger on his, or her, stomach.

If you like looking at male model’s bodies – this one’s for you!
