When it comes to street fights, there is usually not too much technique to be seen. Most of the time it involves two people who have no idea how to fight putting on a cringe worthy display of poor technique until it’s broken up. That isn’t the case in this spirited contest put on by Street Beefs.

Both combatants clearly have some sort of training. The guy in the red shirt is a boxer while the guy in the khakis is a wrestler.

You’d think with those backgrounds there would be a clear advantage for the boxer standing up while the wrestler would have an advantage with the grappling. Though the boxer noticeably has the cleaner technique with his hands, it is surprisingly the wrestler who lands the harder shots, rocking the boxer multiple times with solid right hands.

Early on it appears that the wrestler is going to have his way especially when you see the ease at which he tosses the boxer to the ground and mounts him, but the boxer hangs tough.

The third round begins and both men are visibly tired. The punches have slowed but there is still some fight left in them. The fight ends when the wrestler goes for a double leg takedown and leaves his neck out. The boxer locks up a headlock/guillotine choke and the wrestler taps.
