An axe kick is rare in kickboxing and muay thai, so when someone does land it, it is awesome to watch. Especially when it ends in a knockout. In this k-1 rules bout from Friday night’s WCMMA 48 in London, Alfie Davis landed an amazing axe kick that knocked his opponent out cold.
About Alfie Davis
Hello, my name is Alfie Ronald Davis and I am a professional Mixed Martial Artist originally from Enfield, North London. My martial arts journey started aged 12 when I first started kickboxing. Since then I have thoroughly pursued learning the art of combat.
In 2008, aged 16 I became British Kickboxing Champion and have defended the title 7 times since. Also, in 2009 and 2010, I won silver medals in the European and World Kickboxing Championships (WAKO). After competing kickboxing at the highest level I was eager to find a new challenge. This led me to begin studying the art of Mixed Martial Arts in 2011. As a semi pro I was undefeated in 3 bouts and subsequently became professional in 2014. In September 2015 I became the UCMMA Lightweight Champion.

About UCMMA
It’s no secret that the man behind UCMMA is the same guy that brought you the runaway success that was Cage Rage.
Let’s set the record straight, no one has done more for UK MMA than Dave O’Donnell from his humble beginnings in 2002, he and his team have gone from strength to strength and have promoted sell out shows ever since. They don’t just talk the talk; these guys make dreams a reality with well over 90 successful events to their name.
Their main coverage is in London; one event being taken to a sell out Birmingham NEC in 2008, Sky Sports aired the Cage Rage events for 3 years on pre-recorded, edited highlight shows. Then the massive step of going live with 6 shows for Sky Sports was taken, which was ground breaking for UK MMA. We are continually having our footage aired around the World, so from Brazil through to the Middle East you can sit down and watch Cage Rage on a multitude of sports channels. Not content with just producing huge live events from Wembley Arena we proposed the 1stMMA talk show, which was quickly copied in the USA and started off with a 30 part series of 30 mini shows presented by Sara Kaywood.
