3) UFC 1 was originally going to have a moat around the cage

2) UFC Octagon announcer Bruce Buffer is a black belt
UFC Octagon announcer Bruce Buffer is the grandson of flyweight boxing champion Johnny Buff and is a second-degree black belt in Tang Soo Do.

Bruce Buffer first ventured into martial arts when he was thirteen years old and living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, studying judo and achieving the rank of green belt.
He moved to Malibu, California with his family at the age of fifteen and befriended two Chuck Norris students who got him into tang soo do in which he currently holds a second degree black belt. [Source: Wiki]
