The Underground does not condone fighting in an unregulated combat sports event. Regulation was introduced to the sport to make it safe for athletes to compete. Regulation is responsible for making sure each athlete is medically fit to compete, that athletes compete in a safe environment, and that fighters are matched up fairly.
Although Street Beefs is a non-regulated event, they do a at least take some precautions to protect the two men who have decided to settle their differences. The fights are refereed, gloves are required, and they do enforce the unified rules of mixed martial arts.
The most unsafe part of a Street Beef is that no consideration is made for the skill of the fighters allowed to compete and this video, it’s clear that ‘100 Eyes’ does not have the skills to fight against ‘The Vandal’.
The fight with starts with a touching of the gloves, but then it’s fast and quick action. It’s pretty clear right away that neither guy is particularly skilled as they begin to exchange punches. Eventually the two end up in a clinch and ‘The Vandal’ gets a Thai clinch, lands a huge knee to the chest of his opponent which causes him to fall over. One follow-up punch and his opponent is unconscious, then a couple more punches as the ref jumps in seals the deal.
