The overconfident loudmouth getting knocked out in this video serves as a perfect example of what not to do if you wish to remain conscious during a verbal confrontation.

The video begins with the young man, wearing a blue top and cream shorts, confronting a heavier set individual, while a number of other bystanders move out of the way, sensing that trouble is about to break out between the two.

That’s fine. Go ahead and talk to me, the bully can be heard saying.

That sounds reasonable enough, though his tone suggests he’s not taking the other guy seriously.

It soon becomes apparent that he’s not really ‘fine’ with just talking though, as he becomes increasingly cocky and condescending towards his adversary.

What are you going to do? he scoffs, clearly convinced that he has the upper hand in this situation. What are you going to do?

What, are you going to punch me? he sneers. Do it. I DARE you to do it.

At this point he breaks just about every self-defense rule in the book, stuffing his hands into his pockets, taking a step towards his considerably larger opponent, and jutting his chin out at him.

I dare you to do it, he repeats, taking another step forward in an intimidating manner, so that he’s now well within the other man’s personal space.

Dude, get out of his f*ckin’ face, a disapproving girl warns the bully from the sidelines, but he ignores her, which would soon prove to be a costly mistake on his part.

I dare you to…

SMACK!

The heavy-set man had finally had enough and gave the bully what he was asking for, blasting him with a right hook to the chin that produced an instant, brutal knockout.

If the bully hadn’t been so full of himself he might have seen the tell-tale signs as the other man shifted his feet and cocked his hand back, but he was too busy riding on his own personal power-trip to realize that he was about to take a nap.

As such he learned a particularly painful and humiliating lesson – that you should always be careful what you wish for.
