In the clip below, a supposed karate ‘master’ is set to demonstrate his skill set by kicking an apple balanced on the head of a visibly nervous television hostess. Expressing what proved to be very legitimate concerns prior to the demonstration, the lady confesses, I feel as if I am boarding a scare train – before the screaming sensei proceeds to roundhouse kick her in the side of the face in scenes resembling Holly Holm’s show-stopping KO of Ronda Rousey.

To the instructor’s credit – he did manage to dislodge the apple. Perhaps next time he can harness his formidable chi power instead.

As for the presenter, having taken the kick far better than Rousey did, The UFC are reported to have offered her a contract to fight at UFC 200 alongside fellow 0-0 television personality-turned-fighter CM Punk.
