In an interview on Dish Nation, long time martial artist and actor Michael Jai White was being asked how he felt about being cut out of a Quentin Tarantino film. If you haven’t guessed which film it was, it was Tarantino’s famed Kill Bill series.

But it wasn’t a big deal to White. According to White, he actually stated that he had a pretty big scene in the film. Probably amazing fight scenes. But since Tarantino decided to change a whole big chunk of the movie, they weren’t able to use his scenes since he believed they didn’t belong there. That’s too bad.

Further into the interview, White was complimented for his comedic abilities and timing. Although White seemed quite flattered, he still wants to be remembered for his badass martial arts and fighting ability. According to him, that even if he wore a dress he’ll still be remembered as the dude that kicks people in the throat. He added that it just sticks with you.

White is primarily remembered for films like Spawn, Tyson, and Black Dynamite.

During the show’s lightning round, he was asked random questions such as naming a cheap food and what he’s secretly afraid of. The third question asked him as to whom Bruce Lee would be no match for… He confidently answered Me.

White gave a logical explanation as to why he believes that he would easily defeat the legend. Check out the video to listen to what he said.

Funny enough, after that question, he was also asked as to whom he’d be able to beat up from the Expendables.

If you don’t think Michael Jai White is a real martial artist or a fighter, check him out competing here as a 19-year-old many moons ago. There’s actual footage of him competing unlike the legendary Bruce himself.
