If you grew up in the 80’s and 90’s then it’s likely one of your first introductions to the martial arts was by way of Capcom’s Street Fighter II videogame and the television show Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

In this edition of Super Power Beat Down, a dream match of epic proportions has been put together to answer the question who is the superior fighter, Ryu from Street Fighter or Tommy Oliver aka The Green Power Ranger from Power Rangers.

After Ryu dispatches of a thug in an unsanctioned street fight, Tommy Oliver decides to pop in challenging the Ansatsuken master to a no holds barred contest. After an even contest Ryu begins to gain the upper hand with his Hadouken, prompting Tommy to Morph into the Green Power Ranger and turn the tables of his opponent with the power of the DragonZord.
