When you were child you were always told to not run with scissors, but nine year old Jesse Jane McParland from Northern Ireland wields a katana like it’s an extension of her body.

Taking up the martial since the age of three, she never found much interest in more conventional sports such as ballet or basket.

Not every girl dreams of being a little princess citing her attraction to martial arts which includes Taekwondo, Karate and swordplay that she studies under Sensei Gary Kelly from Ireland and Master Jeff Scott in the UK.

Over her short career she has also collected over 117 titles including the title of World Association of Kickboxing Junior World Champion and the youngest female champion in the World Kendo Championship.

Wanting to add another title to her mantle, she appeared on Britain’s Got Talent and performed an electrifying act displaying her blade skills as well as armless cartwheels and backflips to which she got a standing ovation from the crowd.

After the performance the always hard to impress Simon Cowell asked if she could be his bodyguard before the judging panel voted unanimously for her to move onto the next round.
