Event notes

Once again UCS is working to bring a full day of entertainment to Salem. The day will start with a Car & Motorcycle show, Live Music and a Ring girl contest along w/Live cage fights in the evening. The doors open at 10 am to the public continuing to 4 pm. The day event Admission is free but we'll be taking donations for a Brain Surgery fund for Steven "Spaniard" Valentine and parking is free. There will be custom cars and bikes on display along with various exhibitors and vendors. Four competition categories will include Best Truck, Best Car, Best Bike and People’s Choice. To register your entry go to www.unitedcombatsports.com. Registration fee is $20 if received before May 1st, $30 if received after May 1st, deadline is May 12th. Doors will reopen at 5:30 pm, live cage fights will start at 6:30 pm. There are 12 fights scheduled including a 170lb. championship bout between Dave Webb and Tony Buffa. Dave has fought at UCS two previous shows with wins and Tony currently holds championship belts from other organizations. The fights will also include 2 female bouts, Anna Folkkenson will be returning off her win at St. Patty’s Beat Down and if you were there, you know her fight stole the show! As always with United Combat Sports fights, tickets start at just $15 with kids under 10 free.
