Set to lock up for three rounds or less will be well-known 6’ 4” and 258-lb Elite XC and Strikeforce veteran Brett “Da Grim” Rogers of Chicago. 30-year-old Brett Rogers is a world-renowned warrior, who has fought on national television several times and taken on many of the world’s best MMA heavyweights including pound-for-pound king Allistair Overeem, former p4p king Fedor Emilianenko and former UFC Heavyweight Champions Andrei Arlovski and Josh Barnett. A heavy-handed striker, Rogers wins over 80% of his bouts via knockout. He won the first 10 bouts of his career before stepping up to the elite level. Rogers did defeat Arlovski via TKO in 22 seconds of the first round. “Not only is this going to be one of the biggest fights in state history as far as size, but I think it’s the most important heavyweight fight ever held in Michigan.
