Directions to St. Joseph’s St. Joseph’s College’s Long Island Campus is located in the City of Patchogue, NY and is easily accessible from all areas of Long Island. Although the main building is located on West Roe Blvd., the College’s main parking entrance is on the Sunrise Highway service road just east of Waverly Avenue. St. Joseph’s is close to all main highways and roadways: south shore locations via Southern State Parkway and Sunrise Highway, as well as central and northern Long Island via the Long Island Expressway, Nicolls Road and Patchogue-Holbrook Road. The Long Island Railroad stops at the Patchogue station, which is on the Montauk branch. The closest major airport to the Long Island Campus is Long Island/Islip MacArthur Airport on Veteran’s Highway (about six miles from campus). SUNRISE HIGHWAY Sunrise Highway (Route 27) extends from the Queens County border to the Hamptons. Route 27 itself runs from Brooklyn to Montauk. Sunrise Highway intersects other major roadways such as the Southern State Parkway, Veterans Memorial Highway, Sagtikos Parkway/Robert Moses Causeway and most north/south roads on Long Island. FROM THE EAST Travel west on Sunrise Highway (Route 27) to Exit 52. Turn left at the first light onto Waverly Avenue, over the overpass, then turn left again at the next light onto the Sunrise Highway service road. The College entrance and parking facilities are located 1,000 feet to the right. FROM THE WEST Travel east on Sunrise Highway (Route 27) to Exit 52 — Waverly Avenue. Continue on the Sunrise Highway service road. The College entrance and parking facilities are located 1,000 feet beyond the traffic light, past Waverly Avenue. Veterans Highway, Patchogue-Holbrook Road and Nicolls Road are the best routes from the north shore of Long Island via the Long Island Expressway (I-495). The L.I.E. extends from the Queens-Midtown Tunnel in Manhattan to just outside the town of Riverhead on the east side of Long Island. FROM THE LONG ISLAND EXPRESSWAY (L.I.E. OR I-495). VETERANS MEMORIAL HIGHWAY (EXIT 57 OFF L.I.E.) Travel south on Veterans Highway (Route 454) to Sunrise Highway (Route 27). Take Sunrise eastbound to Waverly Avenue (Exit 52). The College entrance and parking facilities are located 1,000 feet beyond the traffic light on Waverly Avenue.
