On Saturday June 16, 2012 the Kick Down MMA promotion returns to Denver,Colorado for the 101st edition of Kick Down MMA. Current reigning middleweight champion Jason Clayton (4-1) will face Josh Goldberger (2-1) in the main event. Pete Bakerl will face Cruz Soltero Baker will face Cruz Soltero who recently captured the lightweight amatuer title in a different Colorado promotion but has fought in the sister promotion of the Kick Down and will continue in the tradition of fighting in his family where Cruz Chacon, Jorge, Chacon, and Rufino Soltero have all fought within the Kick Down promotion. Don Westman will face Jeremy Bro for the vacant 205 pound lightheavyweight title where both fighters will seek to obtain that title and stake their claim as newly crowned champion. Bryce Thorstad (3-0) will face Nick Kroger (2-0) for the Kick Down amatuer Middleweight title. Brian Camozzi (1-0) will fight for the 1st time in the promotion.
