On Saturday March 13, 2010 the Kick Down returns to the Red Lion Hotel for MMA action featuring the professional Lightweight title in the main event when Steven Simmons (Nu Breed Malisha 4-2) faces Preston Scharf (SLO Kick Boxing San Luis Obispo, California 11-7). Chris Holland will face Travis Peak (3-0/13-0) the current Kick Down professional Welterweight champion and undefeated. Peak will fight for the first time in Colorado. Expect an action packed evening with several titles on the line and fighters from Colorado, California,Texas,Wyoming,Nebraska,Montana. New titles will be contested including the amatuer Lightweight, Jr. Flyweight, when Jake Valdez fights for the lightweight title and wrestling phenom Kylan Zumpf makes his Colorado debut. Zumpf a well accomplished wrestler is the current UFA champion which is a sister promotion to the Kick Down. Justin Hueske makes his second title defense against challenger Levi Howes. Chris Dollbaum and Mike Van Houten return to the promotion where they will put their undefeated records on the line in defense of their respective titles.
