UP & Comers MMA returns to Harrah’s Casino August 19th with 5 California State Championship fights. After a nationally televised debut in January , UPC returns to Harrah’s featuring the top MMA prospects in California. “We are thrilled to be back at Harrah’s SoCal with such and awesome night of MMA fights lined up for the fans,” said Jason Weiner, President Up & Comers MMA. “Harrah’s is a great venue and we are bringing the biggest, most exciting fights to Southern California.” San Diego’s Jon Kim will put his undefeated record on the line against the tough Trevor Wells from Team Quest for the 135lb California State Title. Kim may be the most exciting fighter in California with 6 wins and 5 finishes but will be challenged by a tough Wells who trains with MMA legend Dan Henderson at Team Quest. Roland Dunlap takes on Angel Ramirez for the 205lb State Title could be the fight of the year as both fighters are considered the real deal. The undefeated Ramirez trains at Alliance MMA in San Diego which is considered one of the top 5 gyms in the world, so he is training the premier talent every day. Dunlap may be the most impressive fighter in 2016 with 3 wins all be finishes, and has done it by dominating everyone he fights.
