UFC on ESPN 16, also known as UFC Fight Island 4, and UFC on ESPN: Holm vs. Aldana, will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the Flash Forum on Fight Island, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The weigh-ins will be held on Friday, October 2, and you can watch live on The UnderGround at 9:00 a.m. ET, as all 22 fighters step onto the scale. All fights, including the main event, will be afforded the non-title grace pound. In the main event, former women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm, currently ranked #2 in the division and #8 for women in the pound for pound rankings, will fight #6 ranked Irene Aldana. Also on the card, Germaine De Randamie, currently ranked #1 contender in the division and #9 in the women’s P4P rankings, will fight Julianna Pena, who is ranked #4 in the division, and #14 in in the women’s P4P.

There is a seeming anomaly in rankings between Holm and De Randamie. At 135, De Randamie is #1 and Holm is #2, while in the overall, women’s P4P rankings, Holm is #8 and GDR is #9. That is because the rankings within the division are based on the results of actual fights, where as the P4P rankings are a more speculative determination of who is better.
