Twitter REACTS to UFC on FOX 31 main and co-main
Twitter reacted as Al Iaquinta beat the odds and Kevin and Lee, and Dan Hooker withstood a monster attack from Edson Barboza, for a while.
UFC on Fox 31, also known as UFC on Fox: Lee vs. Iaquinta 2, also known as UFC Fight Night Milwaukee was held on December 15 at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In the main event, Al Iaquinta beat the odds and stalked Kevin Lee throughout, who thought he had won, but didn’t. In the co-main Dan ‘Hangman’ Hooker took an unfathomable amount of punishment from a mighty Edson Barboza, who also beat the odds.

How is Dan Hooker still standing there? How, I ask you.

Dan Hooker is a BEAST!!! WHAAAAT!! Its like that bad dream where the guy trying to kill you is taking everything.

I’ve watched MMA for 5 years now, and loads of old school MMA also. I’ve seen broken limbs, nasty cuts and freak accidents. But watching Dan Hooker today was probably the hardest thing I’ve had to watch.. 😳 #UFCMillwaukee

Dan Hooker: Hold my beer.

Edson Barboza TKO R3 in one of the most excruciating fights to watch of all time. Dan Hooker was obliterated but never stopped moving forward.

If Dan Hooker ever has to buy himself a beer again in New Zealand, I’d be massively surprised #UFCMilwaukee

Congratulations @ALIAQUINTA
I know how strong you are, that's why I was waiting for your fight. #truetalker— khabib nurmagomedov (@TeamKhabib) December 16, 2018
Nice technical first round. Oh how nice technical fights look . Note to self : try it DB! #UFCONFox31
— Derek Brunson (@DerekBrunson) December 16, 2018
What the hell is Lee doing here? His jab looks good from both stances, but he's backing up the entire first round and not even teasing the takedown. I hope this is all part of a grander plan or I can see this going to hell in a hand basket.
— Jordan Breen (@jordanbreen) December 16, 2018
Wow thought that would be it when Lee got the back. Al is just unkillable. #UFCMilwaukee
— Tommy Toe Hold (@TommyToeHold) December 16, 2018
Lee got both takedowns relatively easy…… why not look for it again? I know Al is standing low but he also is committing heavy.
— Nick Newell (@NotoriousNewell) December 16, 2018
I've got it tied 2-2 going into the fifth. Can Kevin Lee get it to the ground in the last five minutes? The fight might come down to it.
— Brett Okamoto (@bokamotoESPN) December 16, 2018
FIVE MINUTES OF HELL, AL!!!

The real estate agent from Long Island gets it done. Unanimous decision against one of the toughest guys in the division. Ended the fight walking him down, with his hands at his hips … eight months after he fought Khabib Nurmagomedov on 24-hour notice. Al Iaquinta!
