Ronda Rousey keeping it as real as it gets in the WWE
“‘Oh don’t break kayfabe, Ronda!’ Wrestling is scripted. It’s made up. It’s not real. None of those b!@^$#es can f@$%ing touch me. The end.”

Ronda Rousey was once the biggest draw in mixed martial arts history. Then she moved on to the WWE, and appears to be doing it again. In her latest splash, Rousey put the WWE on blast, and there is debate as to whether it’s real or not, which in the WWE is of course perfect.
The WWE has been trying to set up the first ever women’s main event for WrestleMania, with Rousey, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch each performing for the Raw women’s belt. Lynch has developed a Stone Cold Steve Austin persona, that works wonders on the mic, a critical area of rasslin’ that Rousey has yet to master. A storyline has developed over the past couple of months, with Lynch lately getting “arrested” in Atlanta for barging into a RAW show. The scripted feud then carried onto the social network.

Next Rousey released a vlog, claiming that professional wrestling isn’t real.
It wasn’t a promo they gave me other things to say I didn’t f***ing say it, wrote Rousey, as transcribed by Jed Meshew for MMA Fighting. It’s not a promo. It’s not an act. I’m not going out there and doing their f***ing act anymore. They can say it’s part of the act to try and save face but it’s not an act. I’m going out there and doing whatever the hell I want and they can explain it however they want, but f*** ‘em. Everybody. WWE Universe included. I meant that I’m going to disrespect the sport that they all love so much. ‘Oh don’t break kayfabe, Ronda!’ Wrestling is scripted. It’s made up. It’s not real. None of those b****es can f***ing touch me. The end.
Then Charlotte Flair responded ably on the social network.

Then former actual rival Miesha Tate came out and said Rousey’s outburst was real.
It got under her skin. I know about this, said Tate on ‘MMA Tonight’ on SiriusXM, as transcribed by Simon Samano for MMAjunkie. You don’t talk about her family, you don’t talk about this, even if it’s just a joke. She does not have a sense of humor, and therefore s*** got real. … No, Ronda’s pissed. Ronda’s not joking. She’s not playing games. She’s not used to having to play by rules. She never had to before. Why is she going to now? She’s already broken the rule with the F-word, saying some things are ‘fake.’ She’s not a company woman. She never has been.
That would seem to indicate that there could be a degree of reality in here somewhere, BUT Tate is on record as saying she’d be open to the odd WWE appearance so maybe she’s been co-opted!
