In typical fashion, it was another SOLD OUT event Friday night when ROC 67 invaded New Jersey’s world-famous Tropicana Showroom. Fight fans got to witness MMA at its finest when the best fighters along the east coast and midwest made the trip to Atlantic City to showcase their talents.
Founder Lou Neglia knows that once again that UFC stars were revealed on this night – he personally sent a text message to UFC boss Dana White with one message … take ROC champs Bill Algeo and Phil ‘The Hitman’ Caracappa, as they are more than ready for the next level.
Many ROC fighters have gone on to successful carers in the UFC with four becoming champions – Matt Serra, Frankie Edgar, Chris Weidman, and Eddie Alvarez. Lou is profoundly passionate about all fighters who grace the ROC cage and believes in giving every opportunity at his disposal. He strongly feels Algeo and Caracappa are next to join the world’s elite and can make some serious noise in their respective weight classes under the UFC banner.
