On Thursday night the lightweight and featherweight finalists were determined by fighting twice in one night, with the winner going on to fight for the $1 million season finale in December.

The purses were 25/25, for both fights, except for Lance Palmer, Natan Schulte, and Rashid Magomedov, who got $50 thousand for the quarter-finals, but did not get the win bonus if they made the finals.

Fighters bear significant costs including training expenses, a percentage to management, a percentage to the trainer, taxes, and more.

On the income side, fighters can earn apparel sponsorship. And many fighters earn income from teaching, from appearances, and in many cases from regular employment in non-fight employment.
