PFL season 2 roster announcements have begun

So far Ffive of six 2018 champions will return, as will four of six 2nd place fighters.

PFL season 2 parallels the first with …
•Six divisions;
•A two-fight regular season, with the top 8 fighters moving forward to a single-elim 8-man, based on wins, round, and speed;
•Finals are on December 31 for a belt and $1 million prize.

Five of six 2018 champions will return:
Heavyweight: Champ Philipe Lins returns
Light Heavyweight: 2018 champ Sean O’Connell retired
Middleweight: Division not returning for 2019, will be replaced by women’s lightweight, champ Louis Taylor dropping to welterweight
Welterweight: Champ Magomed Magomedkerimov returns
Lightweight: Champ Natan Schulte returns
Featherweight: Champ Lance Palmer return

2018 finalists returning:
Heavyweight: 
Light Heavyweight: Vinny Magalhaes
Middleweight: Division canceled
Welterweight: Ray Cooper III 
Lightweight: Rashid Magomedov
Featherweight: Steven Siler 

Further announcements are expected March 8, March 18, and April 1.

The promotion will broadcast on Thursdays on ESPN 2, ESPN Deportes, and ESPN+.
