Conor McGregor tries to off-balance opponents emotionally, by researching their background, and then insulting them as loudly as humanly possible. He did it to Khabib Nurmagomedov, slighting his family, faith, national politics, and his wife. But Dagestanis don’t play; Khabib Nurmagomedov hates Conor McGregor.
In the latest moment of that hate, McGregor is drumming up interest in a rematch, and tweeted in Cyrillic, “See you in Moscow, pussycat.”

That earned an extraordinary response from ‘The Eagle’ – Rapists aren’t welcome in Moscow.

McGregor was predictably undeterred, posting an image from inside the Russian embassy.

The New York Times has reported that McGregor is under investigation over a sexual assault accusation last year in Ireland, and more recently reported that in a separate allegation, McGregor is under investigation for a sexual assault outside a Dublin pub.
The Times noted that “The allegations have not been proved, and the fact that an investigation is continuing does not imply that McGregor is guilty of a crime.”
McGregor’s publicist spoke with the Times and said, Conor McGregor is frequently the subject of rumors. He emphatically denies any report accusing him of sexual assault.
